Eliminate lumps when conveying powders from bags

The VOLKMANN lump breaker works to break down agglomerates that can occur in bags or other storage containers, or result due to the nature of the product. The lump breaker can be mounted directly by a flange under a Volkmann rip and tip (RNT) sack loading station. It works to break down bigger agglomerates in powders before they are conveyed thereby avoiding blockages in the suction line during conveying or negative interference in production downstream processes. Installation is also possible under a Volkmann bulk bag emptying station. Due to its design, the lump breaker design enables easy cleaning and according to ATEX criteria it is deemed suitable for use in dust and gas ex-zones.
